This fitness class is inspired by the French Analyse fonctionnelle du corps dans le mouvement dansé (AFCMD), a program designed under the guidance of expert kinesiologists so that each position hits the right muscles straight away without impacting underlying joints. It combines the muscle-shaping principles of isometrics (perfect body alignment), the body-elongating practice of dance conditioning, the science of physical therapy and the intense pace of interval training. With additional mixed elements of cardio, strength and flexibility, this class is ideal for sculpting, toning and lengthening. Includes 20 mins of ballet barre essentials. No Ballet or Dance experience required.
